Michael Romero is both an Attorney and CPA and began his professional training in large case corporate tax audits. He worked as a trust accountant for the North American Trust Company where he performed under strict requirements in compliance with trust laws, regulatory guidance and complex industry practices. He also served in the defense contracting industry, performing according to the specific technical nuances required under government audits by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). His accounting and legal backgrounds also include merger and acquisition across multiple industries. He has been a successful corporate, governmental and municipal CFO.

As an Attorney in private practice, Michael has protected a broad range of client interests throughout the business and finance spectrum. He has represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex corporate and financial disputes, real estate transactions and development, corporate merger and acquisition, business capital funding and financing, complex underwriting analysis and development, estates & trusts, tax and wealth preservation, and in practice before the United States Tax Court. Whether as a fierce advocate on behalf of his clients, an expert witness in Federal Court, a corporate representative in State Court or before the Oklahoma State Legislature, Michael has proven to possess the knowledge, background, expertise and confidence to address the most complex and difficult issues with courage and tenacity.

Michael is also a top level competitive athlete and has been a national powerlifting champion, including holding a current World Record in the Bench Press (567.8 Lbs.) for the 220 lb. Open weight class in two separate competitive divisions, under the most rigid competitive judging standards for world record placement by the AAU.
